Datawheel is a small but mighty crew of designers and programmers who have a thing for big data. They're working hard to make the world's information accessible, digestible, and open.

I teamed up with architect and creative wizard (and best bud) Austin Jarvis to work closely with Datawheel on a brand update and website redesign back when their team was a humble five-person powerhouse. We tightened up their logo and palette, designed a collection of icons and illustrations, produced animation concepts, and redesigned their website from the ground up.

Since then, their team has grown to almost twenty strong and they've received accolades from Awwwards, Kantar Information is Beautiful, Indigo, and Webby to name just a few.
